Because they do not change, therefore they do not fear God.

We often grumble about change. We don't like the new songs at church, the new exits on the freeways, the new shows on television, or the new prices at Starbucks. President Woodrow Wilson once lamented, "If you want to make enemies, try to change something."
Psalm 139:23-24
Some changes aren't for the better; but nothing improves without some change, and being flexible is the best way to keep from being bent out of shape. That said, the hardest change is the kind we determine to make in our own lives.
Let's suppose we could look at ourselves from the outside in. Pretend you were a total stranger and you spent a day with yourself, just objectively observing you. What changes would the "objective you" suggest to the "real you"?
Every once in a while, we have to take a look at ourselves and say, "I'm not going to live like this anymore. I'm going to change."
We can be our own change agents as we find an area of life needing improvement and start on it at once.
Then, without realizing it, you try to improve yourself at the start of each new day; of course, you achieve quite a lot in the course of time. Anyone can do this, it costs nothing and is certainly very helpful.
