Miracle of Multiplication

And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitude.

Everyone is familiar with the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World (the Great Pyramid of Giza, Babylon's hanging gardens, and others). Did you know that many refer to compounding interest as the eighth wonder of the world? Compounding is the seeming miracle that occurs when the interest on our savings also begins to earn interest and money multiplies seemingly miraculously.

Well, money doesn't multiply miraculously, but some things do. For instance, when Jesus took a few loaves of bread and fish from a young boy and fed thousands of people, that was miraculous multiplication. And when He takes our small, but faithful, contribution to His kingdom and causes much fruit to be borne, that's miraculous multiplication as well. We never know when the smallest act on our part will be exactly what the Lord needs to bring about a significant result. A word of witness for Christ might change a life--or, in time, the world.

You might be the venue for a miracle of multiplication today if you will just give Jesus what you have.

Take my life and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee. . . .
Take my hands and let them move at the impulse of Thy love.
